It's hard to say where this came from but after seeing him turn red from squeezing, we had to grab the camera to capture Macadam's new found fury. Well, I guess fury isn't the best description since you can see he finds it to be quite funny. We also have some fun pictures from recent weekend trips I hope to share this week.

Fun with Diana

Fun with the Diana+ lens, that is...My mom gifted me with a long-desired lens for our camera over Christmas and with the sun now shining more often, I have been able to play around with it more. While there's still some more work to be done, I love these photos from our walk earlier this week. The whole point of the lens (based off the original camera) is for a dreamy, vintage effect. I dare say these accomplished it:).

That's not my name

Hopefully we'll be getting more in-depth coverage of Macadam's dancing skills to his current favorite song That's Not my Name by the Ting Tings, but until then, here's a little snippet. The shaking of the finger kills me. We think he picked it up from the older kids at childcare, or he's brilliant:).

A few months ago I posted a video of Macadam with a case of the giggles, well he's back again. It's hard to say if these could get old, but I am sure there's a way. Until then, enjoy.

Headed home

This might be the cutest and most ideal way to spend the five hour drive home. While due to extenuating circumstances we didn't get out as much as we had hoped, the Methow Valley is absolutely a beautiful place to be. Can't wait to return!

It's a beautiful day here in the methow valley and the snow is such a treat. A long drive to get here but oh so worth it. Hopefully more snowshoeing before we leave tomorrow.

Well, it's been awhile

Before jumping into the new year - here's a collection of highlights from last month and the end of a pretty busy, fun and wonderful year. Let's hope 2010 brings plenty more adventures, good health and time to share with family and friends.

As for our holiday season - it was rather fantastic. While we missed not getting to see family and friends as we typically do during the holidays in Oregon, it was so nice to stay close to home and just enjoy our little family of three. In between walks, good food and other celebrations, Macadam loved it. He wasn't sure what to do when the tree was gone but loves his new little play area as he loves, loves, loves to sit at tables.
