First hike

This past weekend was one of those that you wish you could have every week, or at least once a month. We celebrated three birthdays with a gorgeous outdoor picnic in the park, a wonderful surprise party and an informal bbq. It was a weekend full of good friends, laughs, memorable moments, and even a babysitter for a night.

While Erin and I did a long training run on Saturday morning (followed by a pre-birthday brunch and pedicure with friends), Rob and Michael took Lila and Macadam on a hike. They went to a great little place called Twin Falls and I only wish I could of been there to see it in person. The little ones did great (besides Rob unknowingly placing Mac on some less that sanitary items in the ferns) and we're looking forward to more time in the great outdoors this summer.
